4 Types of Apps We Should Use in 2019
The modern woman is busy with school and work. She has many responsibilities and often times she prioritizes work over selfcare. Ladies, do not do this! Career is important but don’t neglect yourself. I’ve outlined a few apps for the working woman to help address personal aspects of your life.
- Unexpectedly getting your period is quite jarring and can be uncomfortable if you are unprepared. Period apps such as Clue take the burden off of you to keep track of your cycle and remind you when you period is near. If you use a daily contraceptive, these apps also remind you at your specified time of day. I personally find Clue to be a big help.
- Health apps like myfitnesspal help you keep track of what you are putting in your body. It makes it clear if you are lacking any nutrients, and be mindful of your eating habits. Fitness apps provide quick but effective at-home and gym workouts to work into your busy schedule. Just 30 minutes of aerobic activity significantly improves your heart health and mood.
- Meditation apps such as headspace can inject moments of rest and tranquility into your life. It’s important to slow down and breath in the middle of a stressful workday. You’ll find your mind is clearer, and you are ready to take on the rest of the work day. When it’s time to wind down and sleep, you may find white-noise or ASMR apps helpful.
- Don’t forget to have fun! Dating apps like Bumble, Tinder, and OkCupid can be great ways to socialize, make new friends or meet potential SOs. With so many fish in the sea, you are sure to find someone you like. You are a great catch, don’t let social stigma get in the way of your happiness!
I hope you are able to pick and choose the apps that work best with your lifestyle, and integrate them into your routine... remember not to forget about your daily skincare routine too! Let us know which apps you use in your daily life, share the love in our #RaniFam community.
