Our shampoo is a non-stripping, sulfate-free chemical and physical exfoliant that deeply cleanses your scalp while delivering a burst of hydration. Blending the wisdom of Ayurveda with modern science, let's dive into the key ingredients and their benefits: 

Ingredients proven by science: 

• Glycolic Acid → The smallest and simplest alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), this chemical exfoliant gently removes build up and promotes cellular renewal to replenish the scalp. We use proprietary methods to ensure our glycolic acid is free of formaldehyde, adhering to clean beauty standards.

• Encapsulated Vitamin E Beads → These are quick-dissolving beads that deliver deep hydration, balancing the detoxifying formula to ensure your scalp and hair is nourished and hydrated. These capsules dissolve easily with water and a gentle massage. They are 100% biodegradable and free from microplastics, making them safe for you and the environment. 

Ingredients rooted in Ayurveda: 

• Lotus Extract → An antioxidant-rich ingredient, the lotus extract nourishes and softens hair while balancing the scalp. Native to Southern Asia, this exotic aquatic plant contains terpenoids that help to soften hair strands. Ayurveda praises the lotus for its holistic approach to hair care, supporting scalp health and enhancing the strength and shine of hair.
• Rosehip Seed Oil  → This non-comedogenic oil has antioxidant benefits stemming from high vitamin C content, while omega fatty acids nourish and moisturize the scalp. These nutrients are preserved and maintained through a cold-pressed extraction process. 
• Aloe Vera Juice → Known for its moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties, aloe vera is rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes. It is praised in Ayurveda as a holistic solution for scalp health concerns.

We also drew inspiration from the Ayurvedic practice of scalp massages to design a silicone scalp scrubber as the nozzle, that physically removes dead skin cells while stimulating blood flow to encourage hair health and growth.

We put Scalp Detox Jelly Cleanser to the test to make sure we were making a better detox shampoo that people actually wanted to use. In a two-week consumer study with 34 subjects with hair types 1-4: 

• 100% agreed hair and scalp were free from build up.
• 100% agreed the scalp felt less oily between washes.
• 94% agreed this shampoo is less stripping than other shampoos.

How To Use It 

The unique packaging is an all-in-one shampoo and scalp massager to provide maximum exfoliation. 

1. Twist the scalp scrubbing nozzle to open (ON) and squeeze a quarter-sized amount in the palm of your hand. Twist the nozzle to close (OFF).

2. Lather on wet hair, focusing on the scalp.

3. Work the attached scalp massager throughout your scalp for deep exfoliation. It helps with lathering the formula on your scalp too! 

4. Rinse thoroughly.

5. For best results, follow with the Intensive Repair Conditioning Hair Mask.
